Accountability. It seems that in the world today, people want less and less accountability to other people. We have grown to savor of independence and we do not like other people telling us about our failures and faults.

Why do we need it then?...

The Bible tells us that when you have two people of faith holding each other accountable, you actually become sharper as your days grow in number. Look at Proverbs 27:17 below:

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Do you have an accountability partner? I have trouble with this commandment as well, but I know from personal experience that when you trust someone enough to hold you accountable to your faith, you will begin to behave differently because that person is with you, beside you, through the trials and the triumphs. And as your iron begins to sharpen, you will begin to see more and more triumphs in your life.
